**About the Opportunity**
The Resource Allocation Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that ASC's workforce is effectively utilized to meet program objectives. Reporting to the Manager Resource Planning, you will be responsible for tracking, analysing, and reporting on workforce demand, allocation, and training achievements. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to develop and execute resource strategies.
**Responsibilities**
- Track and analyse workforce demand, allocation, and training achievements.
- Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to optimize organizational resources.
- Collaborate with Capability Development Team, Programs, and Discipline Leads to identify resource requirements.
- Maintain a master resource allocation record for all ASC personnel.
- Ensure consistent reporting and management of personnel allocation data.
- Identify and maintain ASC’s workforce planning taxonomy.
- Collate systems and facility requirements for personnel deployment.
- Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK timezone) is required. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis._
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Computer Science, Mathematical sciences, data analytics, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in resource management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
**Eligibility**
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
