**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a **Mid-Market Account Executive** to join our Sales Team. In this direct sales role, you will drive new business through prospecting, territory management, and occasional onsite visits. You will collaborate with the sales engineering team and ensure smooth transitions to the implementation team. Once onboarded, customers will remain in your territory for upsell or cross-sell opportunities. This role emphasizes acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing clients. Performance is measured by a quota-based defined sales territory.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Drive a prescriptive sales process to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within a defined sales territory, and prospect for new clients through various strategies.
- Engage and nurture qualified leads from different teams (e.g., Channel, Logistics, Analytics, Marketing) and cross-sell or upsell to existing customers.
- Collaborate with the account team to leverage existing SPS relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with Customer Success.
**Location**:
In this hybrid role, you will be required to work onsite from our Melbourne, Australia office 3 days per week (Tues Wed Thurs) with light travel to Sydney and customer sites about 5%
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant SaaS sales experience, or some post-secondary education with 3 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 1 year in a commission-based sales role.
- Effective communicator with strong verbal, non-verbal, and written skills, capable of adjusting tone and style to engage different audiences.
- Demonstrated integrity, relationship-building skills, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to clearly translate and communicate business issues and technical information to individuals with varied levels of expertise.
- Hunter mentality with experience in inbound and outbound sales calls
