Daracon Group are involved in a wide range of continuous and exciting projects in the Newcastle region. Projects are vast including roads, bridges, earthworks, rail, services, station upgrades, public spaces, landscaping and subdivisions.

We have the need for an additional Project Planner to join our head office team on a permanent basis. This is a new fulltime position based out of Beresfield, with some limited travel to our various sites in NSW being required.

Reporting to the Group Planning Manager you will work with our engineering and estimating teams in preparation, updating and analysis of detailed tender and execution programs/schedules with projects ranging in value from $5M - $150M.
- 2 to 10 years of project planning experience; or
- Site based Civil Engineering/Project Management experience and are looking for an exciting change and stable work near home.

Experience in both project planning and civil projects would be highly advantageous.

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Experience using planning software on projects (Primavera or Microsoft Project);
- Excellent communication skills in both a verbal and written capacity;
- Attention to detail and a logic driven mind set;
- An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm; and
- The ability to work in an autonomous role within a supportive team environment.

**Experience in the following would be advantageous**:

- Primavera P6 or Primavera Cloud software;
- Transport for NSW contracts; and
- Power BI or other data analytics tools.
