decarbonised solutions.

The performance analyst will be responsible for assisting in implementing real-time
calculations for new KPIs and global standards. They will use a variety of tool including
Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft office and Data Intelligence software as a regular
part of the role.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse KPI performance shortfalls to determine root causes and opportunities for

operational performance improvements.
- Analyse relative asset performance (portfolio, site, unit) and industry benchmarking to

identify opportunities for incremental performance gains.
- Review and validate key operational data and ensure accurate reporting of key metrics

to sufficient levels of accuracy.
- Test, validate and communicate the results of improvement initiatives and

maintenance spend.
- Support management requests for statistical analysis.
- Quickly learn commercial aspects of the business.
- Run and distribute strategic performance reports on behalf of the Global Reporting and

Analytics Team.
- Develop, automate and roll-out reports to Operations and other business areas in

accordance with agreed responsibilities and service levels.
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider business on reporting / data issues and ad hoc

data requests.
- Engage with stakeholders to improve data quality and to incorporate new qualitative

information
- Support the development of forecasts for budgets and business plans, integrating a

diverse range of inputs and variables.
- The development of written reports and presentations to communicate analytical

outcomes and/or forecasts.
- Actively ensure personal health and safety and the safety of others.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree in engineering and/or data science.
- Advanced ability with Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office

products.
- Experience with Data Intelligence software preferred, e.g. Power BI, Tableau etc
- Experience in power or resource sector preferred.
- Experience in reporting or analytics preferred.
- Proven ability to proven solve using an analytical, continuous improvement approach.
- Ability to work both autonomously and with multi-disciplined teams across global

business.
