Our Essentials Services team is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrician (with suitable experience) to ensure Ventia is able to meet commitments with forecasted existing works and future growth.

**About the Role**
This role is responsible to assist in the design of turnkey DC Power Systems for telecommunications equipment, Diesel Generating Plant and UPS Systems earthing Systems and building and civil works to support installations such as Solar Power systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Assist the Design and Construction teams to manage end to end projects, including forecasting materials, quotes, engineering solutions and monitoring the progress of completions against specified timeframes.
- Undertake project management and supporting our installation personnel.
- Liaise with suppliers with regards to products, warranties and delivery schedules.
- Interact with customers to meet their desired design and project outcomes.
- Undertake travel on a regular basis (including to remote locations).
- Strive for continuous improvement in your work and skills.

**About You**
To be considered for this role you will be required to have experience in:

- Design of Telepower Installations to current standards and regulatory requirements.
- Design and construction experience in DC power systems for telecommunications equipment, Diesel Generating Plant, UPS System and LV switchboard / submains design and installation.
- Ability to work away from home as required.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Have a practical approach with sound organisation skills.
- CAD (AutoDESK, AutoCAD or MicroStation) would be advantageous.
- Hold a current manual Drivers Licence.
