**Project Planner**:
We are looking for a **Project Planner** to be based primarily in **Sydney, Australia**.

The Project Planner would be working on storage projects within the Project Planning and Control function, as part of ESO Operations, Project Management. The Project Planner is to create and maintain project schedules both in MSP and Primavera for ESO customer delivery projects. He/she is updating the schedules during the sales and execution phases to ensure that we have the best possible forecasts for the project. The Project Planner would also be involved in the development of schedule management tools and practices whenever needed.

The person we are looking for has extensive experience with project planning tools and techniques, as well as leading project teams in the schedule management process. A background in the energy sector, and particularly the storage sector, is seen as an advantage, as well as a good understanding of project delivery organizations, and the different facets of delivering successful customer delivery projects in a business that is evolving. As a Project Planner, you are an excellent communicator and a person who can involve all stakeholders in the schedule management process, as well as being able to communicate the schedule in a practical and relatable manner both internally and externally. You are proactive in your work, with a positive and goal-oriented mindset. You are decisive and embrace challenges as ways to improve yourself and your team.

**In this position you will be**:

- Accountable for developing and maintaining a project-specific Schedule Management System based on project-specific requirements, outlining all work to be performed, its sequence, and duration.
- Together with the project manager, accountable for getting all relevant project stakeholders engaged in planning and scheduling, as well as continuously interfacing with stakeholders and communicating the schedule in order to direct future project works.
- Propose alternative ways of conducting work and recovery actions if needed while modifying the schedule accordingly.
Accountable for facilitating project manager and project organization decision-making by providing timely and reliable information regarding project performance as well as suggestions regarding future activities.
- Reporting to the Project Manager and the Functional Manager
- Partaking in schedule management methods development

**Position Requirements**:

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in applicable field (engineering or economics)
- Experience in project planning/scheduling
- Experience in project and/or site management
- Experience in the energy and/or industrial construction industry
- Strong understanding of scheduling, planning, and time management
- Working knowledge of scheduling software, e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6
- English (others beneficial)
