Emergency Management Victoria is on the hunt for their next Business Trainee superstar to support the Operational Coordination Division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
The State Operations Directorate supports the operation and improvement of the State Control Centre (SCC) and manages the day-to-day operations of the centre on behalf of, and in conjunction with, all agencies, as well as key enabling functions across governance, infrastructure, IT and finance
**About the Role**:
The position is responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks to support the Operational Coordination of the Emergency Management division. Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Assist to provide administrative support services across the functional units within the SCC, including reception duties
- Assist in maintenance and operations of the SCC infrastructure including the auditing of systems and equipment
- Complete general administrative functions such as answering telephones, data processing and filling
- Assist and provide support to staff on various tasks and projects
- Create and maintain various records and correspondence—both manual and electronic
- General word processing and data entry
- Liaise with people at all levels, both within and outside of the Department
- Other duties as required
