**About the Role**

Reporting to the Makesafe Services Manager, the Makesafe Project Coordinator is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all Building Makesafe projects received for the state of Victoria from end to end of the project. Makesafe Project Coordinator is accountable for the operational performance of the assigned projects and/or tasks, including but not limited to, registration of projects, triage of calls, general project administration including updating portals, engaging of sub-contractor, direct trades and suppliers, collating of supporting documents, managing on going hire items, reporting and preparation of file for invoicing and debtors.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Proven project coordination experience preferably in emergency response building works
- Experience working directly with clients and construction related trades and suppliers
- Ability to handle with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to with an ability to deal with both internal and external customers building long term relationships.
- Ability to develop business through quality service delivery
- Ability to show compassion to insured during time of event

**Key capabilities include**:

- Experience in the insurance repair industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders at different levels
- Previous experience in interacting with trades persons
- Previous experience in working with range of client portals
