**About the role**

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and document status and actions agreed.
- Undertake expediting of local and international shipments to mitigate supply issues.
- Provide reports and updates to stakeholders on the status of shipments and delivery of goods.
- Reviewing inventory levels, market intelligence and other reports, and consider strategic and operational impact.
- Providing effective problem solving and troubleshooting support RTT staff relative to procurement, supply chain, sales, stores, claims and supplier queries.
- Assisting Commercial Manager with the development of processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance and provide governance to RTT policies and procedures.

**The job requirements**:
***
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or warehouse operations or inventory control role - preferably in an environment involving import activity and exposure to category products.
- Experience in expediting delivery of purchases and associated Supplier documentation.
- Intermediate computer skills including recent and ongoing experience with Microsoft Excel, and Pronto or similar ERP software
- Ability to analyse and solve problems.
- High level organisational and communication skills.

Desirable
- Experience with mining or heavy industrial industries.
- Experience with Global Logistics and landed cost evaluation and process.
- Experience developing Pronto Data Intelligence reports.
