**About the Role**

You will be joining our Administration team and be responsible for providing a comprehensive customer focused service to all aspects of the Hospital Front Office.

You will effectively undertake administrative duties that will include, but are not limited to, customer enquiries, switchboard operation, bookings, filing, notation of bed moves, health fund checks, admitting and discharging patients as appropriate and reporting outcomes or needs to the Manager of the relevant department or direct line manager/ supervisor.

Providing a high level of customer service to all staff, patients and families, you will be committed to maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and work in harmony with a collaborative and constructive team.

To succeed in this role you will bring a professional administrative skillset and, ideally, experience within the Health Industry. You will contribute to a positive, supportive and forward thinking team environment with a tight attention to detail. Your capability to effectively communicate and manage your time throughout the workday is critical to this role.

**The flexibility to work a rotating roster, weekend and public holiday availability is essential** **Reception hours are 5:30am-10:00pm.**
- A positive and welcoming customer service skillset
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
- Experience with patient management systems (Meditech) will be highly regarded
- Strong computer skills with a clear understanding of the MS Office suite
- Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience working within a Medical setting
