Food Operations Manager

**Your New Company**

The company is an internationally recognised home furnishing brand which has sites in over 50 countries and renowned for their food services on their retail sites. This role is in based in southwest Sydney, with onsite parking. There is a competitive salary package of up to $110,000 + Super depending upon experience.

**Your new role**

You will be working as a Food Operations Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of food preparation and production on site. You will be providing strong leadership to the staff on site and be responsible for 2 team leaders and 35 general staff.

You will be responsible for but not excluding to:

- Overseeing daily operations of all food areas in the store
- Ensuring the store is keeping to quality, food safety requirements and other relevant legislation
- Ensure all food areas are well maintained and that daily work routines are in place
- Develop and improvement of business processes
- Responsible for recruitment of new staff.
- Operations budgeting and maintaining stock.
- Menu planning and keep the menu in line with the brand of the company.
- Ensure high customer service standards are being maintained across the store.
- Responsible for accurate sales forecasting and operational performance for supply chains, ordering, sufficient goods handling, waste management and stock control.

- Previous experience in a similar management role and strong leadership skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Capable decision maker and problem solver.
- Self-reliant and self-motivated individual with experience working as part of a team
- Process driven individual and the ability to deliver business results.
- Ability to collaborate and build relations within a team
