We are seeking highly motivated Criminal Investigation Officers and Evidence Control Officers to join our Criminal Investigations teams within the Fraud and Criminal Behaviours (FCB) business area.

FCB is dedicated to developing comprehensive solutions to address deliberate, systemic or complex behaviours that threaten the integrity of the Taxation and Superannuation systems. We play a key role in supporting the ATO's core compliance functions by conducting a wide range of investigations across a broad range of tax-related crimes, including those pursued through the Serious Financial Crimes Taskforce.

As an **Evidence Control Officer**, you will maintain the quality and integrity of evidence, including collecting, receiving, storing, maintaining, retrieving and disposing of evidence in accordance with Australian Government Investigation Standards and established evidence management guidelines. You may be required to prepare court documents and give evidence in court. You’ll utilise a range of electronic discovery and document management software to manage, analyse, and export evidentiary material.

Both roles may require interstate travel and a current Australian driver’s licence is essential. You may be required, at times, to work flexible hours outside of the standard bandwidth.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle, Perth or Sydney CBD**.
