**Experienced Female Support Worker Wanted - Join Our Caring Team**
**Location**:Bayswater and Surrounds

Are you a compassionate and experienced Support Worker looking to make a real difference in someone’s life?

We are currently seeking a **female support worker** to assist a participant living with **Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, and Schizophrenia**. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a calm and supportive approach, and experience working with complex needs.

**About the Role**:
You will be providing one-on-one support in a person-centred and trauma-informed manner. Key responsibilities include:

- **Emotional support** and companionship
- Support with **behaviours of concern** using positive behaviour strategies
- **Personal care** assistance (e.g. hygiene, grooming, dressing)
- Assisting with daily routines and promoting independence

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Prior experience supporting individuals with complex disabilities and mental health conditions
- Strong understanding of behaviour support practices
- Excellent communication and emotional regulation skills
- A patient, empathetic and respectful approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 12 months experience in the disability or mental health sector
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Up-to-date Manual Handling and Infection Control training (or willing to obtain)
- Australian Full Driver’s Licence and reliable transport

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
