**Job Description**:
**The Role**

The Civil Infrastructure team has an exciting career opportunity for a current Principal engineer to step up into a Director level role, or for an established Director to join our business. The role will be focused on leadership across three key pillars of what we do every day - people, clients and excellence. Imbedded in the role is the need to be passionate about the positive impact we can make into the future by driving sustainable thinking and actions into our everyday decision making.

Working with a high performing team of engineers, designers and drafters with a passion for digital delivery, you will support the team in delivering projects across a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects. Your role will comprise leadership across the core civil engineering discipline, associated with roadworks, stormwater drainage & flooding, earthworks, pavements, water and sewerage infrastructure for key clients across the market include Defence, Transport, Mining, Water Resources, and Urban Development industries.

As a senior leader within the team, you will contribute to operational and strategic leadership across project delivery, team leadership, growth initiatives, client relationship management, business planning and development, and winning work. You will work collaboratively with leaders across our national team and help us deliver on our global strategy.

**About You**

This role is suited to an engaging and well-respected practitioner who is looking to grow their careers whilst supporting a longstanding team locally. You will be passionate about the contributions we can make to society, provide strong technical leadership in Civil Infrastructure design and be able to lead others across a range of projects or strategies.

We are looking for a collaborative and dynamic individual who enjoys mentoring junior professionals, paving the way for the next generation of engineers to impact our world. Your demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to maintain a strong client base across core civil engineering clients will be the keys to your success in this role.

**Qualifications**:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience are a must.
