We have an exciting opportunity available for an **HR Relations Officer** to join our growing team.
**Role**:
You will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of HR Relations including:
- Recruitment (job posting, screening, interviewing, reference checks, document checks, onboarding)
- Provide support and advice to staff through performance management, conflict/dispute resolution, general follow-ups
- Performance monitoring through feedback from clients and staff, spot checks and meetings (phone, Zoom or face-to-face)
- Monitoring and maintaining the validity of staff and contractor compliance documents
- Work closely with the administration and clinical team for strategic workforce planning
- Participate in staff meetings as a facilitator
- Maintaining relationships with applicants and talent pool
- Management of HR related files, database and reports
- Participate in HR related projects, webinars and training
- Creatively engage with communities to build awareness of the home care job opportunities
- Qualification in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in the aged care or community services sector is preferred
- Sound knowledge in Fair Work and WHS matters
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide feedback in a firm and concise manner
- Well-presented and high level of professionalism
- Genuine interest and passion for people
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with an approachable nature
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Initiative and creativity to find innovative recruitment and engagement strategies
- Strong eye for detail and accountability to ensure compliance is met
**Requirements**:
- National Police Check (obtained within 3 months)
- Right to work in Australia
- Drivers Licence and reliable car with insurance
- Full vaccination for COVID-19
