This role will assist Group Treasury perform scenario analysis to provide insights on the Group's balance sheet resilience to senior leadership and regulators. This requires close collaboration with different areas within the Group including Finance, Risk, Product and Data.
The purpose of this role is to support the Capital Management and Stress Testing team in the development and execution of stress testing models through advanced analytical, modelling and data management skills.

The Capital Management and Stress Testing team is a critical function that helps shape the best outcomes for the Group's shareholders.
The team's objective is to optimise the Group's capital position, within constraints defined by internal and regulatory limits, whilst ensuring the Group's financial strength.
**In this role you will**
Assist with stress testing the balance sheet to provide assurance on the Group's ability to withstand periods of uncertainty. Execute Group Stress Testing, including data preparation, running credit models, forecasting balance sheet, income and expenses under a range of scenarios and formulate strategy and policy to optimise the Group's use of capital.
**Other duties will include**:
- Running credit and income models to determine profitability, capital and provision requirements
- Drafting presentations to synthesise key insights for senior leadership
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Risk across all of the Group's divisions
- Maintain and update models for changes such as the implementation of new credit models or new prudential requirements.
- Support broader Group Treasury in its role in managing the Group's complex balance sheet and related asset and liability impacts to support Capital, Liquidity and Funding, while aligning to prudential standards and related regulatory requirements (e.g. the Group's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process - ICAAP).
**We're interested in hearing from people who have**
- Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics or similar quantitative discipline.
- Data management (SQL) and programming skills (R, Python, SAS).
- Strong organisational, planning, time management and project management skills. Includes the capacity to work in a busy time pressured environment and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact with a large and varied stakeholder group. Ability to manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
