Sydney, Australia Westpac Group Full time

**How will I help?**

We’re looking for a dynamic and highly resourceful Stress Test Coordinator to join our team. In this key 2nd Line role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating Westpac Group’s annual Stress Testing exercises, including the APRA-mandated Industry Stress Test. Each year, APRA provides a different scenario for us to test, so you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and facilitation of this essential process, while managing the tools that support it.

You’ll own the run sheet, timelines, and governance framework, ensuring all tasks, dates, and dependencies align with our regulatory obligations. You’ll also manage advisory groups, review meetings, and communications to stakeholders, keeping everything on track and well-documented. While this role doesn’t have direct reports, you’ll work closely with the Head of Stress Testing and the broader team to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.

**What’s in it for me?**

You’ll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. Our purpose is to create better futures together. So, we’ll back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You’ll also keep learning to grow your career, backed by a fantastic team of people with a can-do, supportive structure. Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.

**What do I need?**

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational skills who can monitor and track deliverables, document risks and issues, and maintain clear lines of communication. You’ll develop and manage key artefacts like RACIs, policies, and our external knowledge hub, ensuring everything’s up-to-date and ready to support the stress testing process. You’ll also manage the continuous improvement pipeline, helping to enhance operational efficiency.

Success in this role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across multiple levels of the organisation. You’ll need a continuous improvement mindset, a solid understanding of risk management, and at least five years of experience in project delivery or a similar role.

**What is it like to work there?**

We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other. At Westpac, making a difference means creating impact, unlocking our own and each other’s passions, and transformative success stories to create better futures together.

As well as competitive remuneration and a great culture, joining the Westpac family gives you access to a wide range of employee benefits to help you manage your priorities - whether that means family life, work/life balance, ambition to grow or all the little perks in between.

We’ll empower you to shape your career path. Through personalised upskilling, mentoring, and training opportunities, you’re in control of where you start and how you’ll grow.

As an equal opportunity employer, we are proud to have created a culture and work environment that values diversity and flexibility - and champions inclusion.
