Overview

This key role in the financial services industry delivers high-quality analysis and insights for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in stress testing methodology, data analysis, and project management.

About the Role

  • Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders across APRA and the broader financial sector.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging risks and develops strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to inform policy decisions and ensure effective implementation.
  • Communicates complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Contributes to the development of new methodologies and processes to enhance the effectiveness of stress testing.
  • Engages with external stakeholders to design and deliver stress test results.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in stress testing and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive projects forward.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with R and Power BI is an advantage.
