Your new role
You will be joining an exciting new opportunity within a high-performing fast paced team within the ICT Cyber Security section of the department. This team is tasked with on-going internal Cyber Security capability that impacts the department. This is a hybrid role that will incorporate analysis, risk assessment and compliance.
The department needs your help to grow their cyber security capability.

**Responsibilities**:
You will need to be precise, efficient, and persistent in your work deliverables as this work critical to the department. As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage cyber policies, provide executive level reports and briefs, document and conduct risk assessments.
Your meaningful contribution will assist the Cyber Branch in being more equipped to deal with the department’s internal security and potential cyber-attacks.

What you need to succeed
- You will have 2-3 years previous experience in a cyber analyst position, ideally within the Federal Government. You will effectively demonstrate your ability to troubleshoot complex situations, identify risks and conduct assessments based on your findings.
- You will need to demonstrate that you can effectively draft policy documents and communicate a range of security concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
