Duties & Tasks of a Hair and Beauty Salon Assistant

Hair and beauty salon assistants may perform the following tasks:

- Comb, brush, spray, shampoo, condition and rinse hair
- Maintain work areas by sweeping floors and cleaning benches and shelves
- Assist with salon reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments, seating clients and taking payments
- Prepare refreshments for clients
- Assist senior staff with tasks
- Display and maintain stock of hair and beauty products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 21-38 per week

**Salary**: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
