IMMEDIATE START

We are looking to hire a Motivated Enthusiastic Skilled Licensed Electrician OR keen apprentice to join our Team.

Megger Electrical works across many components of the Electrical and Communications industry including Light, Power, Data, MATV, Security, HVAC Electrical and Air Conditioning split System installs.

Also Experience required for the Commercial and Strata sectors including Maintenance across Shopping Center's, New Builds & Renovations for Tradesman and just a general CAN DO attitude for an apprentice.

Residential New and Renovations.

Commercial Kitchen Equipment maintenance for Major Retailers including Shopping Centre's across Sydney and the Central Coast

Responsibilities and Duties

Work on Residential, Commercial buildings & Strata Services performing Electrical, Data and Service maintenance, new installs and fault finding

  • High Communication Skills and able to work with Project Managers, Builders, Customers, clients and fellow staff members
  • Ability to follow directions and read plans and drawings communicate well
  • Work on new builds including but not limited to construction sites both residential and commercial
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with construction programs when required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced industry and be directed to attend many sites
  • Work on sites across Sydney and the Central Coast if required to do so
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between Sydney and Central Coast sites as required
  • Available to work overtime if the jobs require to meet deadlines and on Weekends as required with overtime if necessary

What we are looking for

  • for the Tradesman Minimal 1-2 Year experience in the trade out of your time, with a good understanding and knowledge to work independently and keen to learn and show a desire to be part of a team environment and take directions
  • For the apprentice we are open to interview candidates at all levels to find the right fit for our team, be that first to fourth year
  • Experience with fault finding installations, diagnosing problems and repairs
  • Willingness to work across different areas of the industry
  • Ability to work autonomously or in team environment
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and self care
  • Requirement to keep company car clean and organized if one is provided
  • Requirement to submit daily job sheets and weekly timesheets as part of the role
  • Must have current drivers' licence
  • Construction Induction card (White Card)
  • NSW Electrical Contractor Licence for the Tradesperson
  • NSW Electrical Contractor Licence must be obtained within 3 months of starting
  • EWP licence preferable
  • Police check or willingness to obtain is a mandatory requirement prior to starting as per several client's obligations
