Information Security Officer

Are you a seasoned information security professional with a strong passion for safeguarding critical data and protecting digital assets? Are you adept at developing and implementing robust security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Security Officer to join our organization and lead our efforts in maintaining a secure and resilient information environment.
- You’ll help drive improvements in our security operations capability and take a lead role in critical projects enhancing our detect and response capabilities. You’ll be responsible for accurate and precise analysis and correlation of logs/alerts from many sources. The team identifies potential incidents and ensures we respond appropriately to them. We learn and grow, enhancing our monitoring and looking to automate responses where possible.
What you’ll do- Proven experience in detecting and responding to security issues across and international organisation with systems deployed in data centres, multi-cloud and office environments.-
- Experience in understanding organisational risks, building use cases, identifying the required logs and data to detect & respond to them.-
- Creating SIEM rules for correlation across multiple log sources to detect more subtle malicious behaviour.-
- Incident response and leading incidents to support more junior team members.-
- Detailed enough understanding across multiple technology areas to lead investigations, threat hunting and security processes improvements-
- Experience of an Information Security function in a regulated industry, law enforcement or the military-
- Good knowledge of the practical implementation of information security and risk frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST 800-53 and COBIT-
- Good knowledge of auditing frameworks such as ISAE3402 and SOC2-
- Experienced in developing excellent supply chain management practices-
- Proven ability to manage internal stakeholders through a journey of improving information security maturity-
