About the Role
The objective of the Broker Governance Advisor role is to support the Broker Partnerships business with:
Complete ongoing risk and governance processes in time with quality of work.
Maintain and develop Risk Profiles for Broker Partnerships by facilitating in risk incident management and implementing recommended actions from internal oversight team.
Reviewing and updating the standard operation procedures in line with Policies, Frameworks and Standards for Accreditation, Commission and Broker Governance team.
**Role Location**: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
**Role Type**: Permanent, Fulltime (37.5hrs/week)
What will your day look like?
**As a Broker Governance Advisor, you will**:
Improve risk maturity within Broker Partnerships using and embedding Risk Frameworks/Risk Profiles
Provide Risk & Compliance oversight across Broker Partnerships
Incident Management oversight & trend analysis
Stakeholder Engagement
Preparation of appropriate Risk & Compliance related reporting and papers
Record management, Reporting and Remediation
Assist in the implementation of new system and regulatory requirements
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in banking and financial services with a strong focus on home lending, risk management, governance and/or reporting
Superior stakeholder skills, and written communication skills are essential
Advanced understanding of home lending processes and broker industry is preferred
Knowledge of Broker industry, Home Lending processes, Risk Frameworks and Regulatory Standards, market and external environment
