**Job description**:
Our Client has a current requirement for a Level 2 Coxswain to provide a cover for approx. duration of 1 month, with a possibility of extension.

Responsible to Marine Crew Supervisor/ Level 3 Coxswain the successful applicant will carry out the safe and efficient operation of company marine crafts and provide support services to the facility users.

**Main duties**:

- Manning, operating and maintaining all marine craft
- Operating the marine craft as the responsible person
- Maintain competency through RYA Powerboat certification & Client's programme
- Moorings - to tie up, provide services and let go vessels
- Operating plant and equipment as required
- Maintaining the Client's premises, facilities and equipment (including but not limited to general ground maintenance, painting, litter picking and any other general maintenance duties as required)
- General marine duties including but not limited to: debris recovery, oil spill response and general launch maintenance
- Working on a rota system to meet the needs of the business
- Planning and executing maintenance for craft, equipment and facilities
- Completing marine craft checks
- Responsible for complying with good working and safety practice associated with the post
- Complying with the Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Adhering to the Quality Standards set out in the Integrated Management System
- Other duties as required from time to time in order to meet the needs of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant certification
- Previous experience in this field
- Willing to work on a rota system
