About the Employer
Bounce Back 2 Health is small private Exercise Physiology business within the Southern Highlands.
We operate from Moss Vale Aquatic Centre where we have access to a fully equipped gymnasium and both hydrotherapy and lap swimming heated indoor pools.
A large proportion of our business is also mobile, with in-home services provided to aged care clients and those with disabilities.
Job Description
We are seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist or Accredited Exercise Scientist to join our team in September/October 2025.
This position would be best suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care, chronic disease management and disability, who enjoys a varied caseload and is confident in working independently. Competent new graduates or an AES completing post-graduate study for AEP qualification will also be considered.
We offer flexible working arrangements, with the possibility of a full-time, part-time or contractor role, depending on individual circumstances.
Salary will be based on level of experience and qualification.
Essential Criteria
- ESSA Accreditation as either AEP or AES
- Ability to obtain Medicare provider number (AEP)
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid/CPR certificate
- Drivers' license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent exercise prescription skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Ability to relate to clients of all ages and backgrounds
Desirable Criteria
- SIRA Worker's Compensation provider number or willingness to obtain (AEP)
- Mental Health First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Hydrotherapy experience
