Cyber Analyst, CBD, 6-month contract, $850-910 p/d + super

This role sits within a government organisation with a head office in Western Sydney. You will work with one of the leading agencies in government with an excellent reputation in a highly productive team. The organisation is focused on providing sustainable, efficient and cost-effective services.

**Your new role**
The primary purpose of the role is to focus on the day to day security operations activities which will include Information / Cyber Security threat and vulnerability identification and mitigation, 3rd party risk management and compliance reporting and development and Maintenance of Information Security Standards, procedures and related documentation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as in in depth understanding of Cyber security you will be required to possess the following skills/experience
- Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies
- Proven experience triaging and responding to sophisticated security incidents.
- Experience with Industry Frameworks and Standards: ISO27001/2 and NIST
- Demonstrate strong technical security knowledge (i.e. vulnerabilities, incident detection, Windows/Linux OS, etc.)
- Familiarity with Architectural Frameworks and Methodologies
- Professional qualifications desired - CISSP or other
