**Your new role**

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll collaborate with an established government agency and their dedicated Infrastructure & Cyber team. Your role involves supporting the successful delivery of their Cyber Security uplift. Specifically, you will assist the team in implementing Essential 8 security controls, perform real-time monitoring, detection, and response duties to manage Cyber Security threats. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying gaps and suggesting improvements for day-to-day security operations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience working with vulnerability tools.
- The ability to liaise closely with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to ensure successful outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, incident response and patching management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- This is a genuine opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team and support the successful delivery of a critical program of work.
