Hays is working closely with a client to source a Service Strategist for an up to 12-month contract.

**Your new company**

You'll be working as a part of branch that is geared towards client-centric design and always working towards continuous improvement of the design and delivery of their service offerings within the Australian community.

**Your new role**

You will be a part of a project which is aiming to improve lines of communication and cross department data transfer, to improve the user experience. Meaning, you'll be tasked with designing, writing, and drafting an organisational service, channel management, content management strategy-aiming to deliver a dynamic and client-centred strategy which aligns to the branch's vision of their future services. Additionally, you will complete an end-to-end journey map, prototypes, mock-ups, service blueprint and "sludge-audit" as an of identifying the user-journey map and points of friction before making recommendations on areas for improvement. Long-term, this role will likely ideally require you conduct your own user research to inform the rest of the project ahead.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will be successful in securing this role if you have:

- Strong, demonstrated experience in a similar Service Design Strategist role working towards improving the user experience
- Experience producing Service Strategy, content management strategy, Client Service charter, user journey maps, mock up, prototypes, service blueprints, all under limited guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication, where you can use your industry knowledge and insights to have an impact on the user journey
- Ability to obtain a security clearance

**What you'll get in return**

You will get the opportunity to complete an end-to-end user journey service strategy and provide recommendations which will actually make a difference to the user experience This will be on an up to 12-month contract with possible extensions available at the client's discretion-although noting this project has 2 - 4 years worth of funding and work this role has the potential to be along-term and rewarding opportunity.
