**Your new role**:
As Manager of Carer Wellbeing Support Services, you will oversee the leadership of our Carer Gateway Program and Support for Carers Program. Working closely with the Senior Manager, you will have both a strategic and operational focus to ensure high-quality, consumer-focused services are delivered to support unpaid carers. You will mentor and inspire a dynamic team and encourage a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

**About the programs**:
Carer Gateway is a national initiative program funded by the Australian government, offering a range of short-term support services to carers who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend with disability, a medical condition, mental illness, or is frail due to age.

The Support for Carers Program is funded by the Victorian Government and aims to promote improved health and wellbeing of carers. The program provides tailored support via provision of flexible respite and support services for unpaid carers of people with care needs.

**Your skills and experience**:
You will bring with you:

- A bachelor level qualification in Social Work, Community Services or a related discipline
- Previous experience in developing and leading complex programs and services
- Sound understanding of the needs of carers, clients and families, and service gaps
- Strong business acumen to effectively manage resources and achieve strategic goals
- Proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with various stakeholders
