Permanent Part-time role based in our Head office in Parramatta - Upto $42.51 per hour (based on experience) + 11.5% Super +NFP Salary Packaging - Bring your rostering expertise to Afford and enjoy the variety this role brings **What you will do** - Collaborate with service managers to develop rosters aligned with client funding and site budgets. - Utilise rostering software to streamline scheduling and maintain accurate records. - Adjust rosters for unplanned changes and emergencies to ensure smooth operations. - Maintain up-to-date staff roster records in partnership with management teams. - Proactively identify and resolve rostering conflicts to minimize service disruptions. - Monitor cost impacts of roster changes and report trends to the senior coordinator. - Provide out-of-hours support as part of the Rostering & Workforce Coordination team. - Manage the rostering of casual staff to effectively meet business needs. - Ensure rostered staff complete mandatory training and meet screening requirements before shifts. - Track and advise service managers on employee training and screening status. - Monitor leave and rostering risks, making adjustments as needed to optimize workforce efficiency. - Collaborate with service managers on staff availability and leave requests, ensuring compliance with policies. - Enhance communication channels to keep management and support workers informed of changes. - Provide training and support on effective use of rostering systems. - Undertake other duties as directed by the Senior Roster and Workforce Coordinator. - Various shift available including morning, afternoon and some weekend shifts. **What you will bring** - Previous experience in a similar rostering or scheduling role, preferably within the human services sector. - Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award. - High level of skill in the use of Microsoft suite. - Sound conflict management, consultation and negotiation skills. - High level of planning, organisation and problem-solving skills necessary to manage competing priorities - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Current NDIS worker screening check & WWCC (or be willing to obtain) - Up to date Covid Vaccination certificate or medical exemption - Willingness to undergo Police check **_Desirable criteria:_** - Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the NDIS standards, policies, specifications, business instructions which relate to the rostering and management of resources. **What we offer** - Be part of a team united by a common purpose, vision, and values, working together towards a clear and meaningful strategic direction. - Benefit from our commitment to your professional growth and career progression, with initiatives designed to nurture and grow exceptional talent. - Increase your take-home pay with tax-free NFP salary packaging options, including up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for entertainment each year. - Enjoy a workplace that recognises your efforts with a strong rewards program, flexible working arrangements, and wellbeing initiatives like subsidised gym memberships. - Join an organisation that values being good humans and good corporate citizens.
