**About the Role...**

You will be a valued member of the supportive, friendly and experienced 4-person Workshop team, who undertake a diverse range of tasks to keep our poultry business in good shape.

Your role will include general maintenance repairs to production plant and equipment, alongside qualified fitters. This role reports to the Workshop Manager at Darwalla Group, a south-east Queensland poultry producer located in beautiful Mt Cotton.

**About you...**

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. This industry is a 24/7 operation and therefore flexibility is essential to meet production demands. You must have full work rights to be considered for this role.
- Relevant experience with a variety of maintenance tools
- Ability to carry out basic handyman tasks as directed by one of our Fabricators
- Demonstrated compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- A positive attitude & flexible approach
- Their own transport and current drivers’ licence
- A good singing voice would be nice too...and a sense of humour

Highly advantageous:

- A current forklift licence
- Experience maintaining and/or operating a feed mill or similar production environment
