Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.We are currently seeking a Trade Assistants to join our Construction and Engineering team located at Mount Gambier - SA.
In this position you will be responsible for assisting trades (fitters, electricians, steel erectors), Assisting our fleet of mobile cranes, general crane and lifting gear maintenance, operating various machinery, tools and equipment and safe loading and transport of steel, mechanical and structural components.To Be Considered For This Position You WillA willingness to learn and be flexible with dutiesExperience working with hand and power toolsRelevant HRW Dogging or Rigging Licence an advantageA (CN) Non slewing mobile cranes licence (greater than three tonnes capacity) (an advantage)A Forklift licenceGeneral labouring experienceA strong work ethicAttention to detail, quality and safetyHC truck licence (an advantage)Ability to read structural and engineering drawings (an advantage)Your skills and work ethic will be rewarded with excellent working conditions and competitive rates.This is a full-time permanent position within our Construction team.
To be successful you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
