Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Security, Risk and Assurance Manager on a contract for 12 months.

**Position Overview**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Taskforce Security Management - promoting a strong security culture across the Taskforce; providing security support and advice as required; providing support and guidance to Taskforce Security Officers, Business continuity and core base support functions; ensuring Security Standing Orders and Security Registers are maintained; and overseeing effective security assurance and reporting.
- Taskforce Risk Management - maintaining a Risk Management Framework and Risk Register; providing risk management support and working with Directors to identify, analyse and monitor Taskforce and security risks; and representing Governance at the Lessons Working Group and coordinate Governance action items.
- Taskforce Assurance - maintaining the Assurance Framework and related procedures; driving and monitoring Taskforce compliance with relevant policy and legislation; collecting, collating and analysing assurance data and deliver quarterly assurance reports, briefs and dashboards.
- Taskforce Business Continuity - managing business continuity planning and arrangements for the Taskforce and providing support to Governance and the broader Taskforce as required.

You will demonstrate being able to manage a team, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across Government and industry to achieve high quality outcomes.
