Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until they’re made into something new - and it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australia’s largest recycler, our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

Based at our Tullamarine office, this is a pivotal position reporting to the National Service Manager. You will be responsible for the overall management of our clients' recycling weighbridges, the Weighbridge Support team, and offshore Weighbridge operators, a core component of this role is the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' weighbridges and their technology. The Weighbridge Supervisor is also responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase the speed and accuracy of transactions of the weighbridges.

**What You Will Do**:

- Overall management of our clients' recycling weighbridges, ensuring performance is maintained through ongoing calibration
- Management and resolution of issues at Visy sites and associated administrational activities
- Oversee weighbridge Operators and support team including quality reviews, and people leadership activities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including report preparation as required
- Investigation high-level Weighbridge queries including escalations and any issues at Supersites
- Continuous improvement of all weighbridge functions, including implementation of automation initiatives
- Manage various projects in relation to upgrades across the Weighbridge department
- Act as primary contact for all State Operations Managers nationwide

**What You Will Bring**:

- Prior experience in a weighbridge or team leader role preferably in a similar operations environment
- Demonstrated people management experience, leading & maintaining positive workplace culture
- Sound business and commercial management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- Proficient with MS Office, including presentations and report preparation
- Ability to travel interstate and be available outside of regular working hours
