The role Reporting to the Manager, Healthcare Improvement Unit you will develop, coordinate and implement strategic and statewide initiatives aimed at improving the quality and value of surgical and specialist outpatient services. You will assume responsibility for local coordination of state-wide and multi-site service improvements relating to specialist outpatients and surgical services.
Furthermore you will Coordinate state-wide networks and/or advisory groups to support effective, safe and quality health service delivery in order to drive systems improvement and reform.
The successful personTo be successful in this role you will have a Comprehensive understanding of the health sector, preferably with experience within the specialist outpatient and/or surgical services environment. You will also have a breadth of experience in project delivery and the ability to define project tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
