Factory Hand

We are seeking a Factory Hand/Assembly Worker to join a small dedicated team manufacturing electronic RFID livestock scanning equipment at our Capalaba factory. This role involves following work instructions for assembly of electronic devices from PCBA, soldering and mechanical structure assembly. Training is provided but previous electrical, soldering or factory assembly experience is highly desired. Position is permanent full-time Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm at our Capalaba Site.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Following all WHS and safe work requirements.
- Good physical fitness. Able to assist with handling and processing of sheet plastic material using manual and automatic machinery.
- Selecting components from pick list and interpreting work instructions.
- Hand soldering of connectors and wire looms.
- Using PC software to upgrade and configure electronic devices.
- Confident use of hand and power tools. Training on all other fixed plant equipment provided where necessary.
- Assembly, disassembly and packing of small to large products.
- Maintaining workplace tidiness and keeping a high level of organisation.
- General factory duties
**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven record of reliability.
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Attention to fine detail.
- Fantastic communication & organizational skills
- Positive attitude, great work ethic.
- Ability to work well within a small team while managing own tasks.
