Nursing Centred Care Australia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Male Support** **Worker** to join our team in **Medindie, SA**. In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised care and assistance to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This is a casual position offering flexible hours to support your lifestyle and work-life balance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, encouraging social engagement and participation in meaningful activities.
- Support clients with PEG feeding, catheter care, seizure management, emergency medication, and medication administration in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines.
- Assist with continence assessments (including rectal care) and dysphagia management to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health, wellbeing, or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow all organisational policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, individualised care.

**To be successful in this role, you’ll have**:

- A genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in disability support (experience with PEG, catheter care, seizure support, or medication administration highly regarded).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to care.
- Certificate IV in Individual Support
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Full working rights in Australia.
