**ABOUT THE ROLE:
**Summary of the role**:You will be part of a strong safety team that provides support, advice and guidance to staff and managers on all elements of health and safety, emergency management and occupational violence prevention. The team work proactively and independently to manage risk for our organisation.
- This is a full or part time ongoing position
- The work location is flexible and can be based at Werribee Mercy Hospital or the Mercy Hospital for Women, with occasional travel to metropolitan Melbourne locations and Albury.
- The role is focussed on providing our staff with key skills in manual handling safety, safe patient handling and safe equipment use.
- The role will also assist the implementation of other staff education programs such as Speaking Up for Safety.
- The role will be key in developing new ways of delivering training in manual handling moving to online and remote learning.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- _You are an enthusiastic and engaging trainer with a high standard of verbal and written communication skills_
- _You have or are working towards a Certificate in Training and Assessment_
- _You have experience in developing and delivering manual handling training programs_
- _You are keen to work closely with other safety professionals and our frontline staff_
