We operate a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 3 days per week in our beautiful North Sydney offices.

As the HR Business Partner, you'll act as a People & Culture ‘point person’ for the Australian business. This role reports in to the Head of People & Culture with a specialist Talent Acquisition Partner also in the Australian P&C team. We have a workforce in India with local HR support who will be a point of contact as well.

This is a full generalist role partnering with our Australian business: approx. 200 employees and growing. In addition to advising on tactical HR matters with line managers, you'll also manage relationships with senior business leaders to develop and execute strategic people plans. This is where your change management experience, influencing skills and commercial mindset will really shine

We're a fintech that's already moved beyond start-up phase and are firmly in scale-up mode now. As such, part of your role will be supporting organisational design and workforce planning initiatives as we continue to grow. Learning and development are priority areas for Shift. In this role, you'll be facilitating training, developing career & succession pathways and building organisational capability.

As we're a small People & Culture team, you'll need to be comfortable getting picking up transactional HR tasks too. These could include payroll & system queries, compliance reporting and WHS items.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years+ experience in professional Human Resources/People and Culture generalist roles in a service delivery workforce
- Knowledge of contemporary and progressive Human Resources practices
- Excellent communication & consulting skills
- Analytical with problem solving skills.
- Organisational and project management skills
- Computer savvy including advanced Microsoft Office and other relevant systems/technologies
- Preference for experience in financial services, technology or similar commercial sector.
