**About the Organisation**

Operating as a progressive and highly respected pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of consumer products and is well known for its operational excellence, passion for innovation and its household quality branded products.
Due to the approval of the development of a major new manufacturing project, an opportunity has now arisen for a Scientific Technician to join major manufacturing group.

**About the Opportunity**

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Set up, preparation, operation & monitoring of bioreactor experiments.
- Monitor reactor, take samples daily & record observations.
- Report on data from experiments and prepare reports.
- Manage lab consumables ensuring everything is in order.
- Assist with jobs such as sample handling, freezing, chemical inventories.
- Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Science.
- Familiarity with lab equipment.
- Sound MS Office Skills such as Word, Excel.
- Sound organisational skills.
- Sound communication skills & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team & liaise at all levels.
