
Project Lead, Workforce Attraction

**About the Role**:
Our **GippsDairy team** are looking for someone that shares our passion and commitment to promoting a diverse and exciting range of career options in the dairy industry by embracing opportunities to work closely with the education sector, CALD communities, regional recruitment agencies and most importantly job seekers to support people to successfully transition into farm roles.
In this **12-month contract**, you will work collaboratively with regional and national networks to deliver our workforce attraction strategy as our **Project Lead, Workforce Attraction. **You thrive on building relationships, networks and links within communities that promote attraction and retention and expand knowledge and understanding of employment opportunities within the Dairy Industry.
Here are some examples of where you will make an impact.
- Establish effective and sustainable networks and regional partnerships with regional communities that promote opportunities, information, and promotion of programs available to relevant jobseeker networks
- Assist in the development of workforce attraction services where gaps are identified
- Coordinate and implement services, plans and activities to ensure regional workforce attraction delivery activities result in successful recruitment on farm
- Collaborate on the development, planning delivery evaluation and reporting of national workforce attraction projects
- Identify and progress opportunities to deliver programs with a focus on Workforce attraction
- Mentor and coach other team members who have a focus on extension delivery with a focus on workforce attraction and retention.
Ideally you will be degree qualified in agriculture, business, human resource management or approved equivalent or significant demonstrated experience in the area/s of regional development and communities. You have well-honed communication skills that can be adapted to different audiences. Equally, you can link and see connections that are relevant to promoting the dairy industry as a strong career opportunity. Your understanding of the need to be responsive to opportunities for new programmes but also can identify risks to existing workforce attraction programmes.
We want to hear about your:
- Ability to initiate and establish partnerships and networks, maintain effective relationships, and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience in the development, implementation, management and delivery of services and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering extension, facilitation, or engagement activities.
- Capacity to exercise sound judgement in complex decision-making and to execute operational planning.
- Demonstrated experience in working with the delivery of information and programs aligned to strategic plans.
- Capacity to identify funding opportunities and develop and conduct projects, including the monitoring and evaluation of projects.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting in both on-site and remote working environments
