As a Facilities Coordinator/Assistant Facilities Manager, you will report to the Facilities Operations Manager and work alongside a highly experienced operations team. Enjoy a high degree of autonomy within a larger Facilities Management team, receiving support, training, and ample opportunities for career development. In this role, you will serve as the custodian of maintenance, security, and safety, upholding the Centre's brand through impeccable appearance. By ensuring a safe, clean environment, you will build strong relationships with contractors, tenants, stakeholders, and customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the Centre to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Ensuring proper functioning and upkeep of the Centre's plant and equipment.
- Adhering to insurance and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Demonstrating strong administrative office skills.
- Coordinating and managing maintenance, cleaning, and security contractors, including obtaining quotes for work.
- Overseeing correct induction procedures for contractors.
- Managing the Facilities Management operations budget.
- Monitoring and implementing programs to minimize wastage of electricity, water, and other services.
To thrive in this role, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of commercial facilities management compliance. Excellent administrative skills and the ability to work independently are essential. While previous experience in a Retail/Shopping Centre environment would be advantageous, it is not mandatory. This opportunity serves as an ideal career progression from a trade contractor, Facilities Coordinator or maintenance coordination-based role into Facilities Management.
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
