Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.

Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The Greater Shepparton City Council’s Frank R Pullar team in Mooroopna is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our passionate and community-focused team.

This permanent part-time role offers 32 hours per week across 5 days, providing the perfect balance of meaningful work and flexibility.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about supporting children and families, and understands how strong administrative support contributes to positive community outcomes.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems and technologies.
- Organised, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and shifting priorities.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who values inclusivity and is committed to engaging respectfully with our diverse community.
