About the Team
The Technology Department are responsible for the management of the VicRoads standalone network, corporate systems and workplace IT services and providing data security services across the organisation.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, IT Transition and Modernisation, the role of Infrastructure & Network Solutions Manager is a senior role within the IT Transition and Modernisation program accountable for providing management over all Infrastructure aspects of the program and Operations transition. This role will also be responsible for managing appropriate RFP processes for such things as Network and Voice, and other technical RFPs as required.
About you
The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:

- 10+ years of relevant Infrastructure roles, including 5+ years of experience in vendor management
- Proficient knowledge of Technology infrastructure & networks and latest trends
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources
- Strategic mindset to evolve the technical landscape and support the future operating model of the organisation focused on continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape
- A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills
- Expert problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
