**About the role**:
Join our client, where they deliver exceptional service that truly enhances the lives of their participants. As the **Operations Manager, **you will oversee the Service Delivery structure, managing six direct reports and leading a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence. We're seeking a hands-on leader who can drive business results while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Service Delivery & Operational Excellence**:
- Lead the service delivery team for smooth daily operations and high-quality outcomes.
- Support Service Delivery Leads and Managers in addressing challenges and escalations.
- Drive strategic direction and implement service delivery systems, policies, and processes.
- Act as the main operational contact during escalations in the absence of the Service Delivery Manager.
- Monitor performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**:
- Align service delivery with compliance and operational efficiency standards.
- Maintain risk registers to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- **Safety & Regulatory Compliance**:
- Enforce safety regulations across all operational activities.
- Conduct regular safety audits and prepare necessary reports for regulatory bodies.
- **Feedback & Performance Management**:
- Oversee the feedback register for timely resolution of complaints and performance issues.
- Collaborate with leaders to coach team members and manage employee relations.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Evaluate service delivery data to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service outcomes.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Liaise between the service delivery team and stakeholders for effective communication.
- Build strong relationships to foster collaboration and improve performance.
**Requirements**:
- Must be able to pass a police check.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children's Check (WWC)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver's License
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven leadership with strong track records in managing teams.
- Strong operational management experience, with a focus on process improvement.
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management, especially in health and safety.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in the disability sector or community services (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication and people management skills.
