**The Role**: Grounds and Maintenance Officer
At Levande, this role is more than just a job. As our Full-Time Grounds and Maintenance Officer based at Macarthur Gardens in Campbelltown, you'll play a key part in maintaining a vibrant community where every day presents a new opportunity to make a lasting impact. Campbelltown, located in the heart of Sydney’s growing southwestern region, offers a dynamic mix of suburban living with access to parks, local amenities, and a strong community spirit—making it an ideal place to work and live.
As part of our close-knit team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the environment that our residents call home. Your contributions will directly improve the quality of life for those living in our community and help create a place where everyone can thrive.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Gardening & Groundskeeping: Maintain the beauty of the village through regular gardening, mowing lawns, and other general gardening duties.
- Maintenance Excellence: Carry out a variety of general maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards.
- Transportation: Safely drive our village van to the local shopping center and on occasional outings, helping residents access essential services and enjoy social activities.

**What We’re Looking for**:

- Experience: Previous grounds and maintenance experience is preferred, ideally in retirement villages, aged care, or community settings.
- Independence & Initiative: You can work autonomously, using your initiative to solve problems and get things done.
- Communication Skills: You’re comfortable engaging with residents and colleagues, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
- Physical Fitness: The role involves physical activity, so being in good physical shape is important.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for transporting residents.
