**About the role**
As a Commonwealth Student Loans Officer with TAFE SA, you will play a key role in ensuring that our institution meets all legislative and reporting requirements related to Commonwealth Student Loans. You will provide expert support to staff and students by coordinating accurate loan information, ensuring compliance, and maintaining smooth administrative processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet these **Key Selection Criteria**:

- Ability to conduct research and analysis tasks while maintaining excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to use initiative and creativity to solve problems and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes.
- Strong customer service skills, with experience working directly with the public and providing high-quality service to clients while promoting positive customer relations.
- Ability to understand and interpret Acts of Parliament, related regulations, and relevant guidelines.
- Capability to operate effectively under pressure, with strong planning and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, exercising judgement and initiative in an environment of continuous change.
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level to analyse and organise data accurately.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work will be required.
- Intrastate/ interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
