What you’ll contribute to
The Regions are responsible for planning, coordination and execution of vehicle sales, fleet, after sales, marketing, Dealer relationships and local franchise development activities in order to bullet proof the Dealer network and achieve Guest satisfaction, vehicle and parts sales & service volumes, market share and profitability objectives.
The Finance Analyst is primarily responsible for coordinating the finance and compliance-related requirements for Franchise Planning including but not limited to the annual Divisional budget, Franchise of the Future fund and associated projects, Accounting standards and practices, and internal audit ensuring SOX compliance.
12 Month Fixed Term Position based at Port Melbourne with hybrid work options.
How you’ll make an impact- Implements and reviews agreed Finance Planning systems, processes and procedures including budget preparations consistent with set policies in order to achieve business objectives.- Monitors and analyses performance against targets for finance & planning projects and recommends countermeasures or remediation solutions where required in order to ensure that agreed objectives can be achieved.- Supports strategy implementation, business systems, reporting structures, training and advice, and ensures timely and accurate management reporting and compliance processes in line with requirements and objectives.- Acts as liaison between National Divisions, Regional Operations and Finance in relation to Financial Planning strategy, systems and processes. Resolves complex issues, delivers buy-in and implements countermeasures.- Prepares monthly Divisional financial results, reporting, forecasting and administration. Conducts departmental reviews and implement countermeasures or corrective actions to ensure achievement of KPIs via regular reviews and communications.- Coordinates and facilitates forums to ensure that financial plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.- Completes Non Cash Incentive FBT calculations and Dealer reimbursements. Reviews and corrects ledger postings for NCI payments (Supplier invoices, GST treatment) to ensure Dealers are correctly reimbursed for their FBT liabilities as required under the arranger provisions of the FBT legislation.- Monitors and actions corporate compliance issues relating to internal audits, SOX, risk and control, and statutory requirements, to ensure good governance and minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.
