Join our Health Insurance (HI) Delivery Hub in the role of
** Business Intelligence and Reporting Manager**. In this role you’ll contribute to the realisation of value from our Bupa data transformation project, establish and deliver our Health Insurance data strategy, and continuously improve data insights and advanced analytics within the business.

As an operational people leader, you’ll be a collaborative, value driven manager that deeply understands the complex technical environments and toolsets required to achieve outcomes with data, often working in complex, ambiguous situations while engaging with senior leaders.
- This is a permanent full-time position based in our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices when you are not working from home. (Bupa offers hybrid working and you can work from the office or at home)_

The Delivery Hub drives prioritised change quickly and effectively. It's not your typical central 'change program'. The focus is on empowering people closest to our customers to quickly collaborate on the most important priorities, while supported by the executive leadership team who help clear roadblocks. **How will I help?**
- Lead and execute on stakeholder Data and Analytic requirements including establishing, overseeing and delivering key data reports, predictive models, extracts and process improvements to ensure the HI business can respond to market conditions
- Develop, coach and lead a team of operational data analysts, ensuring a consistent quality output is maintained while driving continuous improvement
- Effectively manage a pipeline of analytics work across the HI business, in line with stakeholder expectations
- Develop strong business KPIs that are supported with a thorough analysis of the data underpinning them
- Troubleshoot data issues by tracing problems from source to reporting, performing root cause analysis and driving corrective action.

**What do I need?**

This senior position may suit a people leader who is proficient in partnering with stakeholders to deliver business strategy via advanced data insights, concepts, dashboards and reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- Advanced technical knowledge and skills across the Microsoft Data Platforms & Data Analytics and proficient in using Microsoft Power BI (including DAX coding)
- Extensive operational experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting and insights
- Confident in working with sensitive data, healthcare/administrative datasets, analytics and concepts within health care/insurance or regulated industry
- Business acumen, with developed skills in governance and process
- Advanced communication skills to engage with stakeholders, facilitate structured meetings, deliver engaging presentations and teach technical concepts
