**Job Overview**:
We're on the lookout for a committed individual for the role of Kangaroo Ridge Retreat Accommodation Manager. This is a long-term opportunity where you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operations of Kangaroo Ridge Retreat, focusing on preparing our cabins to the highest standards for our guests. Your dedication to cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail will contribute to maintaining our reputation as the leading boutique accommodation in the Yarra Valley.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Retreat Changeovers**:

- Undertake cleaning activities during cabin changeovers.
- Conduct room audits to meet KRR standards.
- Coordinate cabin changeovers for guest arrivals, replenishing supplies, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
- Report damages, deficits, and disturbances to superiors, coordinating maintenance with external contractors when necessary.

**Cabin Admin and Operations**:

- Manage stock and weekly administration for guest arrivals and packages.
- Place orders with local traders for essentials like coffee, bread, cheeses, small goods, and hamper packs.
- Ensure ample stock for Cabin Crew, maintain cleaning equipment, and manage consumables.
- Pick up consumables according to the booking calendar (e.g daily bread and BBQ packs).
- Manage hired linen Stock, conduct stocktakes, and order inventory stocks.
- Maintain the alcohol inventory and report to the Operations Manager.
- Assist in preparing cabin and online assets, such as wine tags, website, online shop items, and descriptions.
- Complete daily processing for smooth operations and guest arrivals/departures, including the booking payment process.
- Coordinate regular cleaning of the prep-room.

**Guest Services**:

- Set up and prepare Kangaroo Ridge Retreat experiences, including hampers, sunsets, tours, and massages.
- Escort guests to sunset experience locations.
- Maintain the Customer Contact process.
- Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Attend to the KRR mobile for text messages and guest calls during on-call shifts.
- Assist in taking over-the-phone bookings during business hours.

**Team Leadership**:

- Attend both in-person and online staff meetings.
- Organise staff social and professional development activities.
- Oversee the Cabin Team roster, ensuring coverage for new reservations.
- Train new Cabin Team members to meet KRR expectations.
- Provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager.

**General**:

- Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
- Maintain Kangaroo Ridge Retreat SOP documentation.
- Perform any KRR-specific operations as requested by Operations Management.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently, reliably, and organized with mínimal supervision.
- Driver’s License and a car to get to KRR.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Work quickly without compromising quality.
- Flexible working hours within Kangaroo Ridge Retreat Office hours.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Attention to detail
- Located close to Healesville and surrounds
